Mr Austin Lau (Academic Director)

Bio:

Mr Austin is an incredibly friendly and sociable teacher with a teaching experience of over 9 years and excels at guiding students who find themselves unable to cope with the problems thrown at them by both additional mathematics and mathematics. Since young, Mr Austin has showed incredible proficiency in the field of mathematics; in his secondary years he has proven himself as a high achiever whilst in tertiary level, he has achieved commendable results. Fueled by his burning passion for both additional mathematics and mathematics, he has honed his skills in teaching and channeling his energy into his students. He has coached more than 100 students with 91% distinction rate.

Mr Jack Liew (Academic Director) 

Bio:
With more than 8 years of teaching experience, Mr Jack has proven to be incredibly proficient at teaching both national and international academic curriculum. He specialises in the field of Additional Mathematics and Physics.
He spends an inconceivable time in producing meticulously developed lesson plans and practices that functions to ensure that his students constructs a strong foundation in their respective subjects. His straight to the point teaching method hopes to unlock students' maximum potential to tackle all the hurdles placed in their path. He has high expectations of his students and always takes the initiative to motivate them to strive for any plausible achievements.

Mr Desmond

Bio:

Mr Desmond is known for his humour and his fun-filled classes which piques the interest of students and maintains their attentiveness throughout the whole lesson. He specialises in scholastic fields of Mathematics and Science. He believes that he is able to alleviate students' unwillingness to study by changing their mindset. Mr Desmond believes that education does not serve just to obtain grades, but also help to make everyday life more interesting. He usually links his examples daily events to make both mathematical and scientific concept much more relatable. This in turns helps students to remember the concepts better and recall at a greater pace.

He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying

Mr. Kenny

Bio:

Mr Kenny is an incredibly friendly tutor that will offer help to any students who are willing to reach out in search of knowledge. He believes that passing on knowledge to the younger generations require great effort and passion; and both these characteristic he has. A strong bond must be forged between teacher and student in order to properly guide them. His teaching method revolves around simple but effective techniques that enables students to rapidly grasp concepts and problem solving skills. Mr Kenny compared both his subjects to important life skills: (1)science teaches students the mindset to analyse situation and (2)mathematics develops students' problem solving and reasoning skills. He believes that this will help build a bridge in the students' life which will bring them to higher place of understanding.
He holds a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering

Mr Tony

Bio:
Mr Tony is no stranger to the British curriculum having completed his studies in Cambridge International AS & A levels. Mr Tony also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science. He believes that a teacher's guidance can only help students to a certain extent, what he hopes to achieve is to awaken his students' thirst for knowledge; curiosity will drive the students and make them strive for excellence. He also has over 6 months of teaching experience.
His teaching methods are in-depth straight to the point explanations that will allow students to swiftly grasp tough mathematical concepts. Mr Tony believes that the technique of only drilling past year papers and memorizing mathematical formula is inadequate, however by guiding students step-by-step and enabling them to understand the concepts, they can learn to adapt and apply the formula in any given situation.
